Greetings, listeners. It's Amanda. I'm back with you for a little prequel to the Court

of Cups season starting in the early days of the New Year. Apologies if my voice sounds

a little croaky and frog-like. I'm just getting over an illness, so I hope that you can

bear with me a little bit here. So the Court of Cups coming up is the Court of Cauldrons

and ocean tides, feelings, intuition, relationships. As you'll remember, water is the primal downward

force falls and seeps into the crags and reaches towards the depths and brings life wherever

it goes. Water takes us down into the realms of the unconscious and into the mysteries

of life and death and rebirth. And as we follow water, we sail into the realm of dreams

and the realms of the ancestors and the realms of history. And we feel the vibrations, the

clicking and the squealing of the creatures moving through those briny currents. Now Cups,

the suit of Cups also relates to alchemy and potions and the creative source of inspiration

known in wealth mythology as awen, the substance of inspiration. The figures in the Court of Cups

bring that awen, that inspiration to us and help us know what to do with it when we have

it. So the Court of Cups, the figures in the Court of Cups, the king, the queen, the

knight, and the page and all the other epithets we might call them, bring that awen to us and

help us know what to do with it when we have it. The Court of Cups comes to quench our thirst

and replenish the places where we've gone dry and lifeless. So yes, sign me up for some
