1:06.8	According to Rachel Pollock, modern tarot luminary and also Arthur Edmund Wait,
1:14.3	the co-creator of the famous writer-weight colon smith tarot deck. The six of pentacles is
1:22.1	one of the most, if not the most, complex card in the minor arcana. The minor arcana are the
1:31.6	40 cards that make up the largest portion of a tarot deck and historically they've appeared in
1:38.2	four suits, like an irregular playing card deck. So cups, wands, swords and pentacles,
1:46.4	an irregular playing card deck become hearts, clubs, spades and diamonds. Okay, so what's this card
1:54.8	look like? The six of pentacles. According to the description by Arthur Edmund Wait,
2:00.7	a person in the guise of a merchant gives alms to two mendicants. Now mendicants are essentially
2:09.9	beggars. I think it's so interesting how Arthur Edmund Wait says that the person giving the alms
2:18.9	to the poor in this card is not a merchant, but a person in the guise of a merchant. So who is
2:28.1	that person dressed like or impersonating a merchant in this card? Richard Pollock says that
2:37.2	this person symbolizes the life force. This person in the guise of a merchant symbolizes
2:46.2	the forces of life, which not only give us what we need and what we can receive,
2:53.2	but these forces also can overpower us with spiritual wonder. Okay, so this gets back to our
3:03.6	question for the entire season of the suit of pentacles. Where does abundance come from?
