Right now at the time of recording this addendum is our first session post the newsbreaking of Nicholas Brendan's death.

We wanted to put out an acknowledgement of what had happened

because we actually...

It hasn't happened yet for like weeks and weeks and weeks

as far as our recording schedule goes.

Yes.

Nicholas Brendan played Xander on this TV show,

and we just wanted to take a moment to acknowledge that this has happened, say that our thoughts are with his family, our thoughts are with the cast and crew of Buffy, all these people that worked alongside him for so many years.

Our thoughts especially are with his twin brother who has lost a twin.

Nicholas Brendan was a very complicated man. He made a lot of decisions,

especially post-Buffie, he made some very harmful decisions that harmed other people.

He also was a human being and very multifaceted. At the end of the day, grief is also extremely

complicated. Grief is extremely complicated.

And however you are feeling about it or however anyone who is in his life is feeling

about it, I think is incredibly valid.

There's so many moments of joy in this TV show that Nicholas Brendan is instrumental in

bringing.

And so I feel, I feel close to Xander. So obviously I don't know

this man, but I feel, I think, many types of many ways about this. And I want you to know
