Now, tarot certification is a hotly debated topic in the industry with views ranging from it's just a marketing

scam to you're not credible as a reader unless you're certified. So what is the truth? Do you really

need a tarot certification? Well, the short answer is no. You can read tarot cards

without a certification at all. You can even be paid for it. And it's all because a tarot reading

is not a regulated profession. There's actually no official governing body in our industry.

I mean, think about it.

Tarot reading is considered a form of divination or intuitive practice,

and it's often based on personal interpretation.

So it's a little bit tricky to regulate.
