For five weeks in a row, the value of Apple's shares went up 2% or more.

Now BTIG technical strategist Jonathan Krenski says,

Fund's over.

Probably, a piece from MarketWatch says shares in the Cupertino company could be in for a tough January.

This is based on history.

And it's 40-something years as a publicly traded company. Apple shares have risen 2% or more for five consecutive weeks only nine times before the most recent run.

Just after seven of those, or 78% of them, as the piece points out, shares fell anywhere from 1.1%, November of 2007 to 19.3% February 1999.

And that seems to be what technical strategist Krinsky is concerned with.

Not China tariffs, not the upcoming change in the presidential administration, not any problem

with Apple itself. It is history that prompts Kronzky to say, with Apple once again the
