Bitcoin's new all-time high sends waves through the crypto markets, and Crypto Week starts today in Congress.

Crypto markets are green this morning with Bitcoin leading the near vertical rallies that began over two weeks ago.

The largest cryptocurrency by market cap climbed above $122,000 for the first time on record,

outpacing gold to become the best performing asset this year.

The price surge has made Bitcoin pseudonymous creator Satoshi Nakamoto almost almost the world's 10th richest person at current

prices, Nakamoto's 1.1 million coins are worth over $134 billion. As of this morning, the largest

cryptocurrency by market cap is trading at around $121,500. Congress's Crypto Week starts today,

hoping to bring more clarity to digital assets.

The U.S. House of Representatives is set to vote on a market structure bill, a stable coin bill,

and a bill banning a U.S. central bank digital currency within the next five days.

It is likely that all three bills will pass with bipartisan majorities.
