Summary

This is the audio of our first Facebook Live session recorded on April 5, 2018. It is a brief review of BS 141, which was a interview with Dr. Rodrigo Quian Quiroga, author of "The Forgetting Machine: Memory, Perception, and the "Jennifer Aniston Neuron."

0:00.0	Welcome to the recording of my first attempt at Facebook Live. I'm afraid that you will probably
0:11.6	find this recording a little disappointing. In fact, I will not be offended if you start listening
0:18.4	and you decide to turn it off. However, if you can take the time
0:22.3	to listen and give me feedback, that would be greatly supported. The future success of this project
0:28.8	is going to partly depend on listeners like you submitting questions ahead of time, even if you
0:37.2	can't listen live.
0:38.8	So the main thing that you need to remember is that moving forward, although the show is
0:44.6	going to be recorded on the first Thursday of every month at 8 p.m. Central Time,
0:50.4	the topic is always going to be three months back.
0:54.1	In other words, in April, we were discussing
0:57.1	January's episode. In May, we will be discussing February's episode, which was episode 142,
1:04.4	with Michael Gratziano, about peripersonal neurons. And in June, we will be discussing Elkanon Goldberg's discussion of creativity
1:14.3	and so on. So I'm hoping that as time goes on, as people will be listening and knowing that
1:22.0	this discussion is going to be coming up in the three months in the future, that they will
1:26.3	start submitting questions,
1:28.2	and I will also start paying attention to my emails more carefully for questions and comments
1:33.7	that will help to create more interesting Facebook live sessions.
