As I imagine is the case for most other hobbies, home brewing was built on centuries of tradition,

from beer styles that were invented on Belgian farms to methods developed for very specific purposes.

These days, though, brewers have access to

information and quality ingredients that would have been unimaginable to the brewers upon whose

shoulders we currently stand. And as such, some have allowed themselves to, well, more or less,

stray from convention a bit. This is the brewlossophy podcast. I'm your host, Marshall Shot,

contrarian. You know, for whatever reason, I'd have a lot of hot takes and beer and brewing

is no exception. And so I'm excited to get into some of these with you and what our patrons thought.

Yeah, despite the millions of times I've explicitly said that our only intention is to provide

interesting data that some brewers might find helpful or perhaps even just entertaining,

it's become rather apparent to me that many view us as purposely aiming to buck tradition.

This used to drive me nuts because it's just wrong. But at this point, I, uh, you know, I've become so used to hearing that, uh, that I'm not sure I, I, I really care as much as I used to. Anyway, anyway, I'm really looking forward to going over some patron hot takes that we, you know, we got from our patrons, uh, and sharing our opinions on them as well. Now, just a quick reminder, this is a
