I'm here with Bryson Graham,

this isn't general manager of the New Orleans Pelicans.

You have been here with the Pelicans for over a decade,

starting as an intern.

How neat is it for you to be in the position that you are now,

knowing you started here?

It's really cool.

I think when I started, I would have never imagined that I would be spending my entire NBA

tenure with one team, but I wouldn't want to be anywhere else.

New Orleans is my second home now.

It's just so much fun.

And just over the years, I've been able to meet a lot of really,

really good people and work with a lot of good people. And a lot of people that have poured

into me as an employee here. And I'm just really grateful. That is the voice of Bryson Graham at

that time in 2022. He was the assistant general manager of the New Orleans

Pelicans. He would eventually rise to be the general manager of the Pelicans, and then he would be

hired away as the senior vice president of basketball operations for the Atlanta Hawks last year.

And that was just before the NBA draft. In his eighth day on the job with the Hawks, he helped

them take advantage of his former team, the New Orleans Pelicans, and trade for the 2026

unprotected draft pick that went for Derek Queen, along with A. San Newell, ended up being the
