Welcome to Surviving the Survivor.

It is the show that brings you the very best guests in all of true crime on trending criminal cases.

And this has been trending since November 13th, to be precise, of 2022.

We're talking about the absolutely brutal stabbing murders of four University of Idaho students.

We've got Kaylee Gonzalez, Madison Mogan,

Zana Kurnodal, and her boyfriend, who is a triplet, Ethan Chapin. They are the victims in this

crime. And today, Brian Coburger, the suspect, will be back in court momentarily in Boise, Idaho.

Now, this crime happened in northern Idaho in a place called Laetaw County,

but the hearing and the venue has been moved to Boise,

home of the Lori Vallow Daybell trial,

and you've got Judge Stephen and Hippler presiding.

So we are going to be bringing you this hearing,

and it is set to start in just about six minutes.

We are supposed to be joined by Criminal Defense Attorney extraordinaire,

Sky Boardman, as well as R. Timothy Jansen, the letter R and OUR. They both have day jobs.

They're both attorneying right now, but at some point they are scheduled to join and hopefully

they do because they will help break down the legal aspect. If not, I will guide us through the hearing, and there it is.

This is potentially one of the very last hearings before the trial is set to start. And of course,

now Brian Coburger's fate hangs in the balance. What is today's hearing about? There are two high stakes motions in play right now.
