A powerful Arctic cold front is about to unleash dangerously low temperatures on parts of the country.

In fact, this will be the coldest weather the U.S. has seen in a year. The brutally cold air is

expected to rush into the northern U.S. tonight, then expand over much of the west and central U.S.
