I don't know if you've been paying attention to the old Waver wire articles and the news. There's a lot going on in the NBA. I think I have a league winner for you. We will discuss when we get to the Dallas Mavericks here. But as usual, we're going to go in alphabetically. We're going to start with the Atlanta Hawks. We'll ease into all of this with a little to kill Alexander Walker.

Questions about whether or not he's going to be as good as he's been so far this season.

He's shooting extraordinarily well this season.

It's going to be a career high if he holds up 44.6% from the field in a whopping 16 attempts per game.

He's been shooting 38% from deep, which is kind of where he lives,

but he's doing it on eight attempts per game. These numbers are generally up. His steals are generally up. He'd be at a career high 1.1 per game. So now we have no more Trey Young,

and we're starting to see what Atlanta's up to.

We're going to get past this trade deadline and know for sure if they're actually going to try to make a push in the east with this new core. C.J. McCollum added to this new core, by the way. And I kind of feel like they don't really care about this season. Like the, there's not like some push to make something happen here. they know they've got this new core and they can kind of game it out from year to year.

And here we might see them make a big play.

If they added another name, I think that's the only way that Nikiel Alexander Walker has any

really appreciable value loss or depreciable fantasy loss. I think his top 40 to 50 value on a per game

basis is pretty much locked in stone. Now, is this a high watermark for him shooting as well as he's been

shooting on the volume that he's been shooting? Yes, it certainly is. How much erosion could we

see if he starts to slip a little bit? I don't know, maybe around, maybe two tops. Otherwise,

I think he's just set to cruise. And what I think we're witnessing here is a player who has always
