So the Denver Broncos remain on top.

That's almost going to be a must game for Kansas City when they come in,

Sunday. Of course, the Chiefs have to play this Sunday as well. They'll get here. Denver will still be in

first place. The Chargers will be in second and then come the Chiefs. Next tonight, he said,

tonight with powers coming off that game we thought he'd be such a big presence tonight. Wasn't. You know, the Broncos say whatever you want. They're eight and two. You know, when you get to these weeks, week eight, nine, ten, eleven, and twelve. You got injuries. You know, Patrick Sertan's down all across the league. You could find a way to win, even if it's ugly like this. It's a win. Something of November. Seven. Seventh. 11th. I couldn't even have guessed. I was going to say the 15th. The 7th of November, the most important thing is it's a Friday, which means it's agenda-free Friday, and that, of course, is brought to by Catches Law. Catches they specialize in helping those who have been injured not only from a one-time incident, but from a lifetime of hard work and labor. Does that sound like you? If so, visit Catcherslaw.com. Gender-free Friday's format is well known by now. The agenda is set by your wonderful phone calls. You call us, and we follow your lead. Simple as that. We've released a hounds at 617-779-0-985. We'll get to you opening segment if you're ready to go. In the interim, we fill it with opening takes and has become a Friday tradition here during football season. Murray hate watches Thursday night football comes in and leads off the program. That was the final call last night on Prime. Murray, your thoughts. Well, first, though, let me just say, because if you ever wanted to see the Murray-Mush forces in action, you've got them these last few weeks with these Thursday night games. Because ever since I opened my big mouth about these slate of games being awesome after the Bengals Steelers shootout, they've turned into one big dud. It's gone back to being awful Thursday night football, but sorry for that.

2:20.4

That's not what I wanted to talk about, though. No, last night, as boring and brutal as it was to watch, and it was. That game should make Patriots fans feel even better about the team's chances to make real noise in the postseason. I think. I think it's further proof that those that were fine with the inaction at the trade deadline and say, well, they're not going to beat anyone anyway, Paul Perillo. You should feel shame, especially after watching that last night. You should have felt that anyway, but especially after watching last night, the Denver Broncos, that team's your current number one seed in the conference. And sure, Kirk Herb Street carrying water for them, well, a win's a win there. And you got to respect them. they're eight and two, me doing the J.O. move under the conference. And you got to respect them. They're eight and two, me doing the J.O. move under the table.

2:54.8

Like, that's the best you got right now. In short, they got a good defense. I felt good about their coaching. I don't know how I feel about that. If for some of the offensive play calling, I saw last night and whatever positive turnaround I had regarding Bo Nicks, the quarterback, kind of

went right out the window.

And you have some idiots online in recent weeks say, well, he's as good as Drake May, like my ass. The Patriots, I know lost of the Raiders week one. But again, that's week one since then. Drake Mays turned into a legitimate MVP candidate. And he's number two right now in terms of, you know, any of the apps and gambling and any of that. Like, he's a legit MVP candidate. And I also know many times divisional games can be closer than many people expected. That's what happened maybe last night. But no, I don't know. The landscape of the conference is what it is. And it's not good. And if Denver's your one seed and the playoffs started today, Kansas City's out, you should feel pretty damn good about the Patriots chances to go on a deep run because they're looking a hell of a lot better than a lot of the competition that's part of this whole playoff slate right now. Kansas City's no lock to get in. Like, okay, maybe Denver does shock us a little bit more, turns it around next week and beats KC. Like then they have a real upward climb. They'll probably still make the playoffs. But that's the only team I've seen so far that really makes me a scared in terms of the Patriots going to the playoffs and make them some noise. Everyone else is infinitely flawed. And I think you saw that again last night. 617-779-0-985 football. Obviously on the board, Patriots this week in Tampa and the landscape across the AFC. Talk about it all day if you want. McCarthy, what do you want to talk about? Yeah, so if there's one thing I've learned from you guys over the years and the hundreds of shows I've done in the summer is when you take a few days off, you can come back and say, no, now you get to hear my opinion on the thing that happened a week ago. I have not been on, so I want to hit you with just a couple of thoughts from the World Series, which was outstanding.

And I think the ratings, I think, are really noteworthy.

4:37.6

I think baseball is obviously going through a bit of a renaissance right now.

4:42.2

I think the sport has a lot of momentum.

So I have two takeaways from what I experienced watching this World Series and the

spot that I think baseball is in. Number one, and I don't know where the camera is, because I've got
