So there has been another Bruin signing,

and I think it's now clear to see what their approach has been, day one in free agency. They're addressing the bottom of the roster, which is good. They needed it. Yeah, I agree with that. Okay, so the defenseman they signed, four board really feels like a depth, third pairing kind of D. He may play on their first two pair, but that's maybe a reach.

But certainly he's an NHL defenseman and he brings some size, which they desperately need.

They've signed three forwards.

Eric Howla, Thomas Nosek, and now Nick Folino, who's been around and you've heard of this guy.

He was in Ottawa for years, was in Columbus.

He probably had his best years in Columbus and then spent one year here in Toronto only played seven games. So there must have been an injury or something. I'm

not even sure what happened to him. But I feel like Nick Flino is sort of this classic

veteran savvy, bottom six, crafty, depth forward. Fourth line guy, maybe at this time of year. he has scored 30 goals before in his career. So he did have one really, real bang-up year there in Columbus. But for the most part, this is a veteran savvy bottom six guy with some size. And now you have too many bodies in theory on that bottom six. So Deuce's got to be out right like a trade has to

uh felino all bring decent size all bring they're all over i'm just going to check on howla here

uh howla's six feet 193 and he's the smallest no sec 2205. Folino is over 6 feet as well and over 6 feet 2-11. Yeah, I get them listed 2-15, but go ahead. So size, good. They need size. Yes, absolutely. And the four-bore character size is like 6-4-220, something like that. He's big. So that's all good. The bad news is they still don't have a second line center, no word on crachy, and they don't have a top four left shot D, which they desperately need. I think four bore is a reach in that spot. I think Grizzlick is a reach in that spot. So there's still two big gaping holes. But now you're starting to get into an excess of bodies kind of thing. and you wonder, is there another shoe to drop, Murray? Well, what do you know? I just had this tweeted to me here. This looks like it's from a legit operation at Bruins Networks, as he's credentialed media, followed by all the right people. He just tweeted a minute ago, don't shoot the messenger, but hearing Jake DeBrusk's name is out there on the trade front today, though I don't think anything is imminent on Debrusk. I'm being told Boston is certainly entertaining trade scenarios for the 24-year-old winger. I mean, it makes sense. It makes sense. And that might be their best avenue to still try to get someone back on D that has a little more upside, is to move Debrus. I said this too at the beginning of the show. I'm clinging to the hope that they move to Bruss now. So if you sign these wings and can trade DeBrusk, I'm okay with it. And Mike and Adelboro brought up, or Mike and Woburn brought up earlier, Grizzlick, which I don't think would be on their radar, but should be. Yeah, it should be. That's a young point producing D.

Okay, now he's undersized, which I think everyone has to get bigger on defense.

And so, I don't know.
