Good morning from the Capitol Grill on Boyleston Street in Boston and just a few steps away from the finish line for the 130th running of the Boston Marathon, one of the all-time great days in our city.

And it is great to be here. How are we? How is everybody? Mego, your first time here?

Yes, I am so excited. It has got to be the best view for the race that I could imagine. Yeah, this is it. Do you wish you were out there? I know you're a big runner. Running it? Absolutely not. Okay. Absolutely not. Thank God. Curtis, do you wish you were out there? I do not wish I was out there.

My first thing I saw was a bottle of Tangerade.

It's the only thing I can see. We'll keep that. We'll move that away from your view. I just, you know, I just am here to talk sports, but it is a chilly, but gorgeous morning. Yes, and I think for the runners, they like it this way.

For the spectators, maybe you've got to bundle up a little bit,

and maybe you won't spend as much time outside cheering them on.

But it doesn't really matter what the weather is.

This is a day when everybody is, it comes out of hibernation,

and we live through another winter, and get to be out here and and cheer on

these incredible runners who you know the elite runners are awesome wiggies always shocked by how

quickly they get here to the finish line but the people who the regular people who train

and run this for for the family member or a charity that's the that's the incredible thing

to me and and they train somehow trained through winter here in boston which is the worst

it is amazing worst time in the world to be out on the streets running 12 14 20 miles so i it's just

amazing seeing ordinary people like people you would would just walk past you know, Star Market. And today they're running 26.2 miles. And it's just this will of strength. Yeah. It's dumb. I don't know why they do it. It's really dumb. They like the tequila people. We're going to hear it. We're going to hear that they have been training for the marathon. Oh, my. Oh, wiki, they do, they do it it's really done they like the tequila people we're gonna hear it we're gonna hear that they have been training for the marathon believe that oh wiki they do they do take pride no i'm busting their chops but you know believe me that that is true they run they tell you yeah it is like they just like boston college it was like they just got what is it a medal of honor from the millet they don't let you know no I guess they will tell you about it. But they should. Yeah, good for them. I could never do it. I draw the line at the bumper sticker on the car. Yeah. 26.2 bumper sticker on the car will never be on Michael. Yeah. Well, we are here. It's Marathon Monday. It's Patriots Day.
