We're into some Patriot stuff and we'll start to mix that in this hour as well. But we're starting off with not that we're combining the two because we don't combine the sports, Jones. It doesn't make any sense. No, I haven't heard any of that in the first hour. And you know why we don't do it? Why is that again? It's my belief. Because you want to limit yourselves? Why? Why don't you want to do it? It's my belief that the majority, not all, but the majority of Bruins fans could give two poops about basketball in the NBA and vice versa.

So frankly, the Celtic fan doesn't care to compare Don Sweeney's drafting with Danny

Angels drafting.

He just cares about Danny Angels drafting.

What does he care what Don Sweney's done or not done?

He doesn't care.

And vice versa.

There's some crossover, but I do think that the hockey fan and the basketball fan typically are kind of indifferent. They're just different guys. There's some care about both, but for the most part, you're either passionate about one or passionate about the other. It's just the way it is. There's basketball guys or hockey guys. That's kind of the way it is. You're a basketball guy. Sure. I'm a hockey guy. Yeah, basketball people are smart and have morals and all these things. Yes, yes. Whatever you want to. You still like fighting that battle, but to me, I just try and keep them separate. But they're kind of together today. Just you don't need to compare the two. Okay? Because no one cares on the other side about what the other team's doing. That's my philosophy. Are there any teams that do overlap? Oh, definitely. Yes.

You can compare some sports. No, I don't like comparing any sports. I kind of think Patriots, I think Patriots Bruins have some crossover. Yeah, I do. I think Patriots Bruins has some crossover. I don't know. Anyway, you were taking me down that road. Any fresh slots before I go to the phones? No. Okay. Here's Pat and Providence. That wasn't a trick question, Mass. It was a little indecision there. I agree. Pat and Providence, go. I just want to say I'm on record of saying trade Bergeron now for years.

And the thought that we have to wait for Patrice Bergeron to go to the organization and say,

I want to trade is completely ridiculous.

The conversations need to start happening now from the organization to Patrice Bergeron saying,

where do you want to go?

What contender do you want to send with?

And then that groundwork needs to be laid in order to get him out of here because he's done. This obsession with him is ridiculous. He's always been a Robin. Never was a batman. That's why he only has one cup. Okay. The conversation with the organization needs to start happening now to Patrice say, where would you want to go to contend for a cup so that we can get the best package for you?

I don't think it's on the table. I'd be surprised if that was something they would seriously consider or Bergeron would, you know, seriously want. But I think it's probably best for the team.
