I'm Brian Hyatt. This is Rolling Stone Music Now. Now it's going to air another episode this week, but events intruded.

Those events began at a Bruce Springsteen in the East Street band concert in Manchester, England, where Bruce began a frontal verbal assault against President Donald Trump.

And then Donald Trump, because apparently he has nothing better to do, nothing going on in the

world, decided to shoot back on truth social.

And before he shot back at Bruce, he took a shot in the same day at Taylor Swift. He said that Taylor Swift is no longer hot since he said that he hated her.

I'm sure the lack of cultural energy focused on Taylor Swift right now has nothing to do with the fact that she just ended the biggest tour of all time and has been deliberately out of the public.

I'm sure it's because of something that Donald Trump says.

But begun this pop culture war has, and I thought that I'd have Andy Green here to try to break

this all down. This was a very clear statement that Bruce made and wanted to make big.
