Good afternoon, everyone, and welcome to police off the cuff, the Brown University

shooting in which two students were killed and nine others injured has entered day

number six with some new information, information i think that will really blow

the case out of the water but you never know when you're working these investigations what lead

what tip will blow the case out of the water and result in an arrest in this complex investigation

there's been calls during this

investigation in regards to politics. There's been calls about incompetency by the investigators

running this investigation. There's been a lot of people second guessing as to why certain investigative leads weren't pursued.

For example, detaining all the witnesses after the shooting.

That wasn't done.

Now good luck trying to get and find out who was in that lecture hall during the shooting.

And then when you finally do, you're six days behind

and getting statements from witnesses.

And of course the video,

a campus like Brown University that apparently is a quarter mile square,

not having enough video to have caught the shooter and if he in fact acted alone or if he

did not because right now they are putting out this picture of a person of interest

they're calling him and we don't know because they really haven't been transparent when

they release certain things.

We don't know if this individual you see on the thumbnail right now on that screen, is a witness?

Is he an accomplice?

Or is he nothing?
