I'm your host, Anna Garcia. Our case this week,

the FBI describes it as one of the rarest forms of murder. When a brother kills a sister,

this type of homicide occurs for about one to three percent of all murders. So why did a 24-year-old man kill his pregnant 30-year-old sister?

Prosecutors say they found the Brothers Journal, where he wrote that his married sister,

who was expecting her first child, was impure. He invited her over for dinner, and then he chopped

up her body.

And the person who found her dead was their mother.

That woman now has lost her daughter, her grandchild, and her son will likely be locked up for the rest of his life.

And this case, the reason I really wanted to examine this case is because of your expertise in domestic violence,

but we're looking at a different dynamic.

We're looking at siblings, which we don't often see.

And the defense is claiming that the now admitted killer is suffering from mental illness.
