Today on the Grave Talks, Brother After Light, a conversation with Mandy Metzger.

She grew up in a house feeling that something was watching her.

It started with small things,

orbs, shadows, noises, and quickly escalated from there.

After tragedy struck her family, Mandy Metzger began to suspect her brother,

maybe behind the haunting.

But this was a question that remained just that,

a question. After moving to several locations, Maddie discovered that she could communicate with the dead, far beyond her brother, and sense them far beyond a non-sensitive person. This

is her story. Mine would have started when I was probably seven or eight.

I would hear my family members talk about ghost stories and how some of their homes were haunted and how someone might have had a paranormal experience.

And I was like, like wow this is interesting

scary but interesting so it kind of just started from there and plus I've you know I started

having experiences when I was around that age too so and so I was even more intrigued when I would hear these stories from my family

members. Do you recall any of the specific stories that your family members would tell you?

I remember, I believe it was my grandmother, would talk about hearing the door rattling, coming from, I believe,

upstairs in one of the bedrooms when no one was home. She would talk about the door,

would be rattling. Or my mother actually, I believe, ended up seeing her own father, who's deceased at the time,

too.

She ended up seeing him at the back door standing there.

I remember them talking about that story too.

And it was just different things that they would talk about that was going on.

And it kind of would freak us out when we go over and spend a night with grandma.
