I'm Wes Goldberg, host of Locked on Warriors, joined here by David Ramele host of

locked on heat. We're gonna do a redraft of the 2017 NBA draft later on but I

wanted to start with this report from Brian Wynhorse who said that he believes the Brooklyn Nets will try to

add a third star next to Kevin Durrant and Kyrie Irving for next season.

To do so, the Nets could shop Karis-Lavirt and Jarrett, among some other assets that they have, including Spencer

Dinwati.

David, what do you think about this approach from the Nets?

I don't like it, but I think it's a necessary one.

And I think, look, I think if you've been listening to the show and any time we bring up the nets in Irving and Durran in particular, I think it's been pretty clear that they are increasingly apparent that it's more and more difficult for

them to find anybody who wants to play alongside them or that they're not quite content with that supporting

cast is currently constructed in Brooklyn and you know I

think it costs Kenny Atkinson his job and they need to acquire somebody who is going to be able to

propel them into title contention.

They're very, very good as is.

I think that supporting cast is actually very good as well,

but I think it's just, it's a,

it represents such a change in the culture for Brooklyn acquiring Irving and

Durant and so now all of a sudden the window closed it's not it's not about or the
