I'm your host, retired NYPD Sergeant Bill Cannon, a 27-year veteran of the NYPD.

You know, it's hard for us to put the case of the Idaho murders behind us.

Of course, you see on the screen, Kaley Gonzalez, Madison, Mogan, Zana Kanoidal, and Ethan Chapin.

And not just because of the, how horrific the crime was, but because of the way it came to an end with a

plea deal with this absolute psychotic here we see up on the screen brian coburger and i'm not as a

retired in yPD sergeant i'm not questioning whether it was the right deal. And I think it was

probably the right deal to take the plea. However, what I do question is that the prosecution

got nothing for it. He pled guilty with one word, yes, yes, yes, yes, said four times in a court of law that he did

commit those murders on each separate victim.

But the prosecution, if this was a poker game, they had four aces in their hand.

They had a royal flush.

They had all the cards. and the defense had nothing.

So why didn't we learn things about how this happened? Why it happened? Was he targeting any one

of the victims? Was he targeting Kaylee Gonzalez, Madison Mogan, Ozana Connoodle?

What was he doing?

And why?

And what did he do with the evidence post-crime?

Why did he target that house?

All of those things we would have learned about if this case had gone to trial.

But we didn't have to learn about it by this case going to trial. We could have learned about it by this man demanding that he

allocute, which means up on the, he raises his hand and admits to every single, every single thing he did in regards
