But you know and the Christian Baal voice so it was I it was citing what helped me do it

You know like that and then there were a few checkles and the night went on and about 10 minutes after that particular award was televised

Who should comment but none other than the official Twitter account for the Church of Satan and they said this

To us Satan is a symbol of pride liberty and individualism and it serves as an external metaphorical projection of our highest personal potential

That's wordy as mr. Baal's own talent and skill won him the award. This is fitting. Hail Christian. Hail Satan

And then then it went on it gets funnier understandably offended

Liz Cheney threw her hat into the Twitter ring and she cited a

2008 incident in which Christian Baal was arrested but not charged with a crime saying

Satan probably inspired him to do this too

And then in a turn of events never before seen in the history of social media some amount of arguing in sued and

Here's a thing about all of it. I haven't spoken with mr. Baal directly yet

But I'm not I'm not convinced that he intended a sincere celebration of Satan or of satanic philosophy

I think he probably just meant to be funny. I don't know

I also don't think that the Church of Satan ever really believed that Baal was sincerely thanking the devil

They likely just saw an opportunity for press and they seized it and it worked
