Summary

The pressure to present an image of ourselves as strong and spiritually “together” hovers over most of us. We forget that not one of us is perfect and that we are all sinners. Pete explores Psalm 51 as a model for us, concluding with a few thoughts about our need to climb a ladder of humility if we are to lead well.

1:35.1

myself to be human and weak.

1:39.1

And instead of blaming my many problems in life on whether it be Jerry or the church or daughters or New York City or being a leader.

1:48.0

I finally looked at myself much more fully.

1:52.0

And it was painful.

1:56.0

It was liberating.

1:59.0

And I remember soon after this journey began, I just, in 96, going to my first
