flying solo got a lot to do on today's show all right we're going to talk about why nick bosa and

brock purdy are both looking back in time to the year 2022 we're going to talk about some

very interesting comments from chris forster about arguably the most hated man on the 49ers

offensive line jake brendle and we're going to talk, or I'm going to talk,

quite frankly, and defend Brandon Ayuk a little bit. Because I think he's getting put through the ringer. I don't think it's fair. I don't think it's justified. And I haven't had a chance

to comment on it yet. So I want to take an opportunity to defend number 11, if I may. But let's

start with something Nick Bosa said yesterday. He had a very

interesting media session. You know, for a guy who uses very few words, he actually does say a lot.

He was talking about where he wants to improve and what he wants to do to improve. And he gave an

interesting answer. It's a little long, but I want to play it for you.

So here's Nick Bosa.

Watched a lot of my prep for the 22 season recently, a cut up in my folder that Chris had sent

over.

And I just kind of watched what I was focused on and what I was working on

intentfully going into that year. And it was interesting to see because a lot of the time you,

I mean, at this point in my career, I've played so many years that I forget exactly what I was focused on each year going in because you're always trying to pick a couple things to really focus on and kind of just reminded me to keep honing in on the things that make me elite and not getting too caught up because you only have so many reps in football you don't have that

many reps to practice so sticking with the bread and butter and then obviously i could i could work those

other change-up moves but just uh kind of focusing on the things that make me great.
