Let's keep it rolling on Brock Purdy future contracts.

I like finding clues.

And Eric Branch was the one who reported that Devondre Campbell story back in September.

We read his quotes and went, oh, this is a problem.

And some of you may know that my main clue that I keep going back to when it

comes to Brock Purdy's contract is we try to figure out not just what the number will be,

but kind of where it will fall, which is more important, right? Is it going to be a very top of the

market sort of contract, you know, 60 million annually, whatever the guarantees are we'll get to.

Or is it going to be something a little more palatable? That's where I think it's going to be.

And I think it's going to be there for a couple of reasons.

One, the Niners will be fast to do a deal like that.

And so then the question becomes, you know, I think it was Diana Rossini who did the story,

the tweet on Sunday that Brock is looking for a top of the market contract, that sort of thing.

I know there's a lot of people that disagree with me on this, but I think there's a couple of reasons

why Brock would be satisfied to sign a contract that in some ways maybe appears to be at the top,

but is more in the top 10 range than the number one range.

So that's a clue I've talked about before.

I'll get back to in a second.

But let's get to the newest clue, which is teased here today.
