Debo Samuel exited the game on Sunday with what looked to be a serious knee injury.

Now, during the game, word trickled out that was an ankle injury.

And after the game, Kyle Shanahan said, it's an ankle injury, it looks likely a high

ankle sprain on Monday, the 49ers updated states also an MCL sprain, but they expect him

back in the regular season.

That is amazing.

And it's a testament to the composition of some of these guys who just, you know, you

can always spot the future high level football player when they're little kids because they

can fall down and bang their head and bounce right up and everything's fine.

Run into a wall and everything's fine.

You're just built different and Debo Samuel is built different than the rest of us.

He can take that hit.

He can absorb that injury and we can find out when the dust settles, he's going to be

back at some point in the next month.

That's amazing to me.

And it's great news for the San Francisco 49ers because obviously if they need him and

they need to keep as many of their great players healthy as possible, they've got a cluster.

It was like the Rams have a cluster of really highly paid players that they need to keep

on the field.

The 49ers have a cluster of bad asses that need to have enough of them healthy enough.

Enough of them are healthy.

They are going to kick your ass and they need Debo Samuel to be one of those guys.
