the 8.8% economists expected. It's the highest rise in annual rate of inflation since 1981,

and the index rose 1.3% in the last month. Number two, Twitter has sued Elon Musk in hopes of enforcing his

agreement to purchase the company for $44 billion. Number three, the euro and the U.S.

dollar reached parity yesterday for the first time in 20 years, meaning the currencies now have

equal value after years of the euro being stronger.
