On today’s show, Dane is joined by Britt Robson of MinnPost to recap the Timberwolves swirling draft night and the swirl of rumors surrounding D’Angelo Russell. Dane and Britt start by discussing the approach Tim Connelly and the revamped front office took to the draft, and from there get in to the players they ultimately wound up with. The focus begins with Walker Kessler, the Wolves top pick on Thursday. The discussion is not exclusively about Kessler as a player but also about how this seems to signal a new view of how to build out the frontcourt around Karl-Anthony Towns. Wendell Moore Jr. is next up. A high character, high work-ethic player that really seems to fit Tim Connelly’s style in Denver. Also some discussion on Josh Minott, who seems to be the upside swing of the draft. Finally, some more D’Angelo Russell discussion. 0:30.4	that went down last night. Britt, I'm just going to start here by trying to quickly recap what
0:36.0	happened last night and then we'll get into all of it.

0:40.0	They start the night with picks 1940, 48, and 50, right?
0:46.4	19 was traded for 22 and 29.
0:50.2	And they also threw in a 2023 second round pick in there to get 22 and 29 for 19.
0:56.6	They took Walker Kessler at 22, of course.

1:00.2	They then traded along with two future second round picks for pick 26,
1:05.7	where they took Wendell Moore Jr. from Duke at 26.
1:10.4	So 19 and at 2023 second became Kessler, and then Moore was
1:16.8	29 and two future seconds at 26. They then took, then they had 40. They traded that back to 45,
1:23.7	picking up a future second. They got Josh Minot from Memphis there. Then they traded 48 for a future
1:30.7	second and they stayed put at 50 and took Pateo Spagnolo there. So they go from 1940, 48, and 50 to 22,
1:40.6	26, 45 and 50 in the process. They gave up three seconds, got back two seconds.
1:48.0	I think that's what happened. I might be messing something up there. But,
1:52.0	we'll obviously get into Kessler and more specifically, but just kind of to start, like,
1:58.1	how did you, what did you think of Tim Conley's sort of approach to this draft
2:02.5	and just the kind of wheeling and dealing route that he took?
