I made a Thursday afternoon after the tread deadline.

It's January 9th. It's February 9th. Jeez. Woo. I have Britt Robson from Minpost joining me to put the pieces together

here from the trade deadline that kind of began taking shape Wednesday evening.

With DeAndrele Russell being swapped out for Mike Conley, Akeel Alexander Walker, three second round picks.

Then the rest of the league, after that kind of started popping off,

namely the Kevin Durant trade to Phoenix,

a handful of other Western Conference teams retooled for a playoff push.

Britt, we should get into where the wolves fall in the greater

context of the West through this move, but also just acknowledge how much the league has

changed and evolved. It feels like a long time ago that Kyrie Irving was on the Brooklyn

bets. I mean, it has been, it's, it's been a week. So let's just

start with your thoughts on the, the DeLo for Conley swap there and what that, what that means

for this team for now and for going forward, in your opinion. Well, I think I'm pretty much

in the conventional wisdom camp, unfortunately.

It's never a place I like to be.

But I think that it's a net positive for the wolves for obvious reasons.

I think that Delo had his moments, but the fit was never adequate for either side.

Nobody ever really seemed totally happy once you got past the Gerson Rossossoss, you know,

orgasm at the city center.

You know, that was three years ago yesterday.
