We have another look into the life and message of Elizabeth Alliot, who called us to live

to a higher standard and not satisfied with just throwing a little empty religion into life

as a shallow substitute for giving God our best. As our series continues

in the coming weeks, we'll hear from family, friends, and others who were influenced by Elizabeth

Well, as usual, two Gateway to Joy programs as we continue a series called Bringing Up Baby.

This is with Elizabeth's friend Arlita Winston, mother and grandmother.

She'll be talking about child training.

When does training begin? And what about discipline?

And as we think about families, we'll hear from Steve McCulley, who as a very young child, lost his

father, Ed McCulley, in Operation Alka, in an attempt to reach out with the good news of the gospel.

He'll be talking about his mother and how she didn't think she needed to forgive those

who had killed her husband.

Also, we'll hear about how Elizabeth modeled sacrifice, as we hear from author and speaker
