I'm Hans von Spakowski, and this is Pace and Point.

The title of our episode today is Bringing Light Into Darkness, the Federalist.

For years, the only place the public could get news was from the three major networks and the major

newspapers like the New York Times and the Washington Post. As Rush Limbaugh used to call

them, they were the left stream media, not the mainstream media. They slanted the news, inserted

liberal bias and all their stories, and did the rest to manipulate public opinion to favor

their liberal candidates, blast out their progressive opinions, attack conservatives,

and achieve their biased partisan political goals and objectives.

It was the Internet with the ability to post blogs and opinions and the development of electronic

newspapers that has provided a counterinsurgency to the dominance of the left in the news

and opinion business.

The left stream media has lost control of the flow of information, something very important

to them,

and are those of us who want to maintain and protect our Democratic Republic.

Now, one of those innovative news and opinion websites is the Federalist.

I go to their webpage every day as part of my job. And I have to tell you, they are one of the

best publications that has emerged from the conservative blog news and opinion world.

There are reporters and columnists have broken numerous stories on corruption and government,

on wrongdoing by government and other officials, and on the bias, partiality,

and frankly prejudice of the partisans who are in the news business, who masquerade as reporters.
