Hello, everybody. Welcome to Three Point Perspective, the podcast about illustration, how to do it,

how to make a living at it, and how to make an impact in the world with your art. I'm Jake Parker.

I'm not Lee White, but I am Will Terry, and all three of us are professional illustrators.

We've all worked for all the major publishers in the business. Together we've published somewhere around 75 children's books, and we've all taught

illustration at university art schools. That's right. Each week, we bring you either an interview

that we're doing, like we're doing today, or we answer your questions or some sort of topic

of discussion. Today we have Lisa Bardot. I want to

excuse Lee. He's on assignment. He's currently working on self-publishing pro, which is

interview with lisa will what did you think of Lisa? She's incredible,

huh? Yeah. I don't, well, it's, I'll tell you that it's impressive enough to start a really,

really successful business. That is, you've got my attention. But the fact that she's a mother and raising children and trying to

balance that, that whole family life where their husband is even, like, I don't even know. Like,

I went through the kids. Like, we had kids and I did my fair amount of really watching kids while I was drawing and painting.

And it was so distracting.

And so, you know, like to be an illustrator, you need huge chunks of time to work on something.
