Now in the previous installment of the series, I brought a message I entitled The Cost of Victory.

We looked at the fact that the king had commanded everyone in Persia to give great deference and extraordinary honor to a man named Haman, who he had appointed as sort of the prime minister of Persia, of the empire that he ruled over.

And so here you have a man named Haman, who is, the people have been

commanded to give him extraordinary honor and deference, almost adoration. And he's basking in this.

And as he travels, even if he comes by, everybody's supposed to bow down to the ground and everybody's supposed to give all this deference and honor like he really is somebody.
