The pandemic changed a lot of things about how we work, where we work, how we work,

and our work life balance pretty much disappeared.

That's especially true for working mothers, who did more child care and household labor than their male partners.

In turn, they had a harder time working from home, reporting higher rates of stress and depression.

The pandemic obviously made things worse.

It's put American work culture in the spotlight for men and women alike.
