What's up, man? I'm still hoping it comes back, to be honest. There were some, it's funny because

I feel like the reporters or people were asking the guys a lot more this time about how they felt if there was no game or because there's no game and still no game. And there were a couple of guys that were like, yeah, I'm good. But there were some also some people were like, no, let's play. What do we do we doing let's play the game i want to get out there

and play it's one day it's one day you're going to be sore for a week it's fine it's a glorified

beer softball game like what are we doing here like people are so jeter was asked specifically

if he's the reason the game is no longer happening. And he said, no.

Who asked him that?

I don't remember what reporter.

I read some article over the weekend that Jeter was asked specifically because Jeter has always said, even before he, like, this is way back when he still played.

He said, you'll never see me playing in an old timers day.

He didn't say you'll never see me at an old timers day. He said, you'll never see me playing in an old timers day he didn't say you'll never see me at an old timers day he said you'll never see me playing at an old timers day and he's saying because he just want to get hurt blah blah blah who knows he's he's one of these he's weird okay he's very weird and i think just like when he was done playing baseball he's done playing baseball he's never picking up a baseball again like that's just like he compartmentalizes that way but so he was

he's particular he's particular whatever it is particular he was asked are you like did you get the yankees

to axe this thing he's like absolutely not i don't have that kind of power and it did get cut in in 2020

during the covid season or after 2020 because 2020 season was fake baseball with no one in the stand.

So they didn't have an old timers day.

But then 2021 when people were back in the stadium, they didn't have a game.

Again, I don't know how you're like, oh yeah, we can have guys come and be in the clubhouse

together and go out on the field, but we can't play a game because that's too risky for

COVID standards.
