BMW is readying a quad-motor version of the M3.

You're going to be out in 2027.

It's leaving the test track and hitting the roads, albeit covered in camouflage.

They're talking about M3 grade pace, 800-volt system, a sports car, a track

car, full-blooded M-car, they say first, rather than being EV first, but of course it will

have fantastic EV specs, 100 kilowatt hour battery. And they're not pretending that sound

sensation don't matter. so they're talking about multiple

driving modes with simulated gear shifts like Hyundai do with the N cars and a sound profile they say

aligned with their new Neuer class of platform the Chevrolet Bolt is back in American dealers and

showrooms right now four years after they said they were going to retire it. It's back with a new LFP

pack. It likes to be charged to 100% every single day. The fast charging is 150 kilowatts, night and day

better than the old one. Again, not class leading. In fact, it probably is class leading at that 30k

price point, but not industry leading. Doesn't need to be, because that's the point. I've already

hinted at it,

starts at 28995. Now, the first versions, the LT trim is 29990. That'll come down in price.

That and the Nissan Leaf, America's cheapest electric vehicles. Still not a patch on what I can buy,

the 10, 12, 14,000 pound cars. We've got a much bigger cheap car market here, partly because of our

roads, the history, the China cars coming in, but either way, this is still great value for Americans
