Have a look at the page and see what it's all about. Tesla has opened the first half of what will become the world's largest supercharging station. It's in Los Hills, California. And right before the 4th of July weekend, sounds like good timing to me. The first 84

charging stalls are open, 84 more to come this year, 168 in total. It's got a 1.5 megawatt

grid connection, which is much less than it would need if it wasn't for all of the solar

and storage. Now, it's currently operating essentially off-grid at the moment in the first phase.

There is a grid connection.

They want to sell energy back to the grid when they need to, and they want to import it,

if the weather isn't compliant, although it is in California.

Saw this report today as Tesla's fully off-grid supercharger station. It's not. It does

have a 1.5 megawatt grid connection, which in itself is not insignificant, but would need to be

much larger for 168 superchargers running flat chat. But still, that's a great bit of Tesla doing

what Tesla does really well.

UK EV sales have risen sharply in the first six months of this year.

We're currently doing June, the month has just gone particularly well.

But if you round it out over the first six months of the year,

21.6% EV share here in the United Kingdom, which is below, obviously, by the end of the year,

they've got to get 28% according to our government's mandate. The car companies are still

complaining that they're having to offer good deals to customers and discounts, and that's not

sustainable, and that's their take on it. Now, the UK also saw record growth in EV charging infrastructure

with ultra-rapid charger installations. That's those over 150 kilowatts, up by 23% in the first

half of the year. Loads more of those big charging hubs around. Spain's EV market was up 80%

on the first half of this year compared to the same time last year.
