On Sunday, Israeli forces issued new evacuation orders for people in and around Gaza City as it announced a new operation against Hamas

fighters in the area. In central Gaza, Al Jazeera's Hani Mahmoud reported from the site of an

Israeli strike on a mosque that killed at least 21 people.

The mosque that was attacked past midnight at about 2 a.m. in the morning when it's really fighting,

Jede, it dropped a one-ton bomb that have destroyed the entire mosque, its facility and the properties

around it. There's a crowd of people here who are still searching for remaining and surviving family members as they were sheltering inside

the mosque. This mosque has turned into an evacuation center for almost the past year, all

of it, almost a whole year of war. This mosque provided shelter protection

for the hundreds of displaced families

who were seeking protection and safety inside it.

Rescue missions here are quite difficult

and a challenging intensity of bombing campaign,

but also the lack of equipment

that could help surviving people to get rescued.

On Sunday, Israel continued bombing Lebanon, including the capital city, Beirut.
