Hello, hello everybody, and welcome back to another episode of Fluently Ford. I hope you're doing well. I'm excited for today's episode. I've been wanting to do this one for a while and I feel like now is the time to talk about Bree Larson because this is a celebrity. You know me, I like to get a little bit niche, I like to get a little bit creepy, and you might not

think that there's much to Bree Larson, but oh boy I'm gonna convince you otherwise in this

episode and she's huge in the zeitgeist right now so she's obviously she plays

Captain Marvel she's in a new Marvel movie that's out before that I had really only seen her in 21 Jump Street

and Scott Pilgrim versus the world, so I didn't really know much about her. The whole idea

of who Brie Larson is and her reputation changed massively

when she got into Marvels. So we of course are going to be talking about that, but she's also

huge in the news right now. She's very topical because she is in a new

Apple TV show called Lessons and Chemistry. It's based off of a book. My mom is

currently reading it. People are saying that it's good, have I seen it yet?

Nope, have I watched it, have I read it?

No, but I've been hearing good things.

And you know what, this is just an episode all about gossip.

So if you want to talk about the TV show,

maybe we can do that after I watch it. Now I personally, I hate to say this, you know, like I'm never beating the women hating allegations. Woman hating? Women. Well, do I hate one or do I hate all of them? I hate none of them but sometimes, you know, this is just what happens when you sometimes say critical things about female celebrities, but I kind of fell into that a little bit.

Here's the thing. I had been hearing from everybody, they were like,

Bree Larson, she's in the new Marvel movie, and she's awful. And this is back when I was spending a lot of time on

Reddit and Twitter and people would be like we hate Bree Larson. She's so rude. She's so mean.

She's so unpalatable basically.

And I remember when I first started hearing this,

I said to myself, it's a classic case of misogyny.

These people just don't like a lady.
