Hey everyone, I'm Courtney Copeland, the granddaughter of Kenneth and Gloria Copeland, and I'm here today joined with Greg Stevens as we teach our third day on generations.

We are. And I brought a little object lesson because as we're talking about generations,

you know, when I was first starting to try to operate in faith, you know, I'd ask God,

I would believe that I receive what I asked for. And, you know, I saw this, well, Bill Johnson, this is the one that taught this first. And it was so good, I said, okay, I'm stealing that. But you just pray for an apple pie. I want an apple pie, Lord, I deserve an apple pie. And you're believing for that. and he gives me an apple, instead of an apple pie.

And I'm thinking, what great?

What am I going to do with this?

I can't even make a whole pie out of that.

What I failed to realize is that God thinks differently, his thoughts are different and higher than mine.

I opened up this guy's brother earlier today, and there were seven apple seeds in there. So generationally, I didn't get

enough for this apple pie, but you know what he just gave me? He gave me seven apple trees

that in time I can make apple pies for generation upon generation upon generation. It's the way we look at it. So he answered

my prayer, but he answered my prayer in such a way that would benefit the masses rather than just me

and my immediate needs right now. And I question a lot of things. And I used to be taught in the religion

I grew up, in the denomination I grew up.

That questioning God was bad and it was a sin.

And I found out later, no, that's not the case.

I mean, to continue to do it, not in faith is one thing.

But to seek truth in faith is okay.

And so if the same power that raised Jesus from the dead dwells in me, then why is the world so broken?
