| 0:23.8 | Here in our community at Bridgetown we're coming off from a week of lamenting and grieving |

| 0:30.1 | I just want to be clear that we don't think you do that in one week, check it off the |

| 0:36.2 | Greaf and lament is something that takes time. |
| 0:38.7 | It's a process, so just keep that in mind. |
| 0:41.5 | But as we do move forward, I want to just look at the book of Psalms to remind us that |
| 0:45.8 | there's a rhythm to our grieving and lamenting. |
| 0:48.8 | You acknowledge the pain and then on the other side there's joy and there's worship and |
| 0:53.5 | there's praise. |
| 0:55.2 | The book of Psalms teaches us how to feel what's going on in the world, how to process |
| 0:59.8 | the hurt, the pain, and bring it before God. |
| 1:02.6 | Sometimes in songs of joy and then other times in Psalms of lament. |
| 1:06.8 | And so I just want to look at a few that I think embody really well what it looks like |
| 1:11.0 | to lament and grieve and then turn to give God praise and worship. |
| 1:15.3 | So first, let's look at Psalm 10. |
| 1:18.6 | Why Lord do you stand far off? |
| 1:21.2 | Why do you hide yourself in times of trouble? |
