Can't believe we finally made it to June.

Here we are.

Today we wanted to share a song with you guys that we've been singing at our church

the past few weeks, but before we do, just a quick word.

This song was written from a space of standing in the awkward tension of on one side.

The world is completely imploding.

It feels like everything is going wrong with the death of George Floyd, which are hearts

are heavy and broken with the protesting that anger, the violence, with COVID-19, with

staying at home, all this stuff, it feels like the world is coming to an end.

But at the same time, we as Christians are called to stand in the gap between life is

really difficult and broken.

But we believe that Jesus is the same yesterday, today and tomorrow.

You believe that the Kingdom of God doesn't rise or fall with the kingdoms of this world.

It's an everlasting kingdom.

And so we have to stand in that gap and declare that God reigns, that He is loving, that

He is kind, even in the middle of this awkward space that we're living in.

So before we share a song with you, I'm going to read a song over us and share a quote
