My name is Adam Smucker and I'm here with my wife, Hannah.

Hi guys.

We're both worship leaders at Bridgetown Church.

Today we'd like to share a song with you called Love Came Down.

I'm sure many of you know it, was written by Brian Johnson and the team down at Bethel Church

in Reading, California.

And this song has been really special for me through my life.

I feel like in different seasons.

I always come back to it.

I can remember some of the first times I've ever met God and felt His presence when I was

listening to this song.

And more specifically, it's really helped me through times of when I didn't understand

or I had questions that seemed unanswered or maybe I didn't feel God like I wanted to

or experience His presence in the way that I was looking for.

And so it's really spoke to me over the years and I think the message is really appropriate

for a time like this.

I think this is just like a unique time in history too for everybody because it's one thing

to know your own struggles, but it's another thing to see the world struggle.

And that's really unnerving and it's really scary for so many people.

And that's why I love the lyrics of the verse of this song that say, when I can't hear

your voice, I hold on to what is true though I cannot see when I'm overwhelmed.
