Hello, I'm Gavin Bennett and this is the Bridgetown Daily for Tuesday, June 23rd.

Today we're going to do an imaginative sort of meditation through some of Psalm 139.

But before we do, would you just take a moment to get comfortable?

Close your eyes.

If you're driving maybe pull over or save this one for later.

Put your feet flat on the ground straight in your back.

Rest your hands gently in your lap.

And as you get comfortable, begin to pay attention to your breathing.

Picture in your mind the shoreline of an ocean and synchronize your breathing with the waterline.

With each inhale as the water slowly crawls to shore, imagine the spirit of God pouring

into you.

And as you exhale, as the water falls away back into the ocean, carrying with it the shelves,

sand and rocks on shore, imagine the spirit of God washing away the heaviness, the busyness,

or the exhaustion of your day.

Inhale and be filled and exhale and be washed.

Let the spirit loosen and break off the heaviness and the anxiety of the day.
