Hey everybody, welcome to the Bridge Town Daily podcast for Wednesday, March 25th.

If we have not met yet, my name is Gerald Griffin, one of the pastors and elders here at

Bridge Town Church and I have the joy of spending this time with you.

And what I want to do is lead you and teach you just a simple prayer exercise of giving

burdens over to Jesus.

And I'm hoping that this will not only be super helpful for you, this has been, this

has had massive impact in my life, even a month ago or so.

I was having just some fear around my kids and thinking about them, I woke up in the

middle of the night and was just having fear and had a friend lead me through this process

and it was so helpful to give that burden over and I experienced a ton of freedom for

that.

So I'm kind of fresh off of that experience and just want to share this with you.

And I really hope if you're feeling burdens right now, some of you guys are at home with

kids on lockdown and you're feeling the burden of that.

And I also know that so many in our Bridge Town family have lost their jobs or had their

income reduced.

And maybe that's the burden and you have burden of bills that are looming and health burdens.

Like I just can only imagine if you're anything like me and my community, you are experiencing

burdens right now.

So the scripture that comes to mind when I think about this is from Peter.

And remember Peter who walked with Jesus, denied Jesus three times but then was reinstated

three times.
