and the beginning of free agency, although it doesn't feel like the beginning anymore.

It feels like we're rounding third already after 36 hours.

Hey, you know, I'm really feeling my age here because I remember when what free, and I mean, I'm not talking about 2006, talking about like 2012, July 1st would come.

You maybe would have one or two deals. I know like Brian Colangelo, he liked to spend his mid-level right out of the gate.

He would sometimes sign a guy right out of the gate.

I remember Al-Frucaminu, who's now a free agent, or now resigning.

When he signed this contract, he signed his contract right out of the gate.

So you have a couple right at midnight.

But generally, what we used to report is, oh, these six teams contacted this free agent.

These, you know, there will be meetings scheduled.

Like it was not, maybe you started to get some commitments on July 2nd, but it was not normal for there to be major action. And I mean, Summer

League, which used to start even later, Summer League used to start, you know, around July 10th.
