today I've got a special guest on the podcast. His name is Brian Sumner. So he was born in Liverpool,

England, and he made a name for himself in the UK as a skateboarder. And then he became a professional skateboarder,

came to the United States to the age of 15 to join Tony Hawk's birdhouse skateboards teams. I mean, guys, this guy

had an amazing career. He came at the right time. This is really when skateboarding was exploding in the United

States and really all over the world. And he had a very successful 20 year career skateboarding.

But at kind of the height of a skateboarding fame, he got married, had a kid, his marriage fell apart.

And he has this really great story of how God kind of saw him through that moment because he actually set out

on a journey to prove that life was meaningless, that there was no God. There was nothing like that. And as with a lot

of guys that said how to do something like that, got snatches him up. And now he's an evangelist, a pastor, a speaker,

he's the host of the foolishness podcast. And he's also the author of a marriage book called Never Fails Marriage Book.

And guys, this was a really, really, really fun interview. Okay. We talked about some cool stuff off air. And I'm like,

man, I need to go ahead and start hitting record. So we can get into all this. We spent a lot of time talking about MMA.

He knows a ton about MMA. He knows a bunch of MMA fighters personally. I asked him who he thinks the goat is and all that.

We get to talking about jujitsu because he's been training jujitsu a lot now. Now these not skateboarding as much.

We talked about his family. We really go into a lot of detail about that time and his life when he was suicidal.

And God literally pulled him out of all of that and showed himself to him. And you know, it was just an amazing time of his life.

And that's really springboarded him into the career that he has now. He and I are probably going to be doing some more stuff down the road.

So I'll keep you guys up to date and up to up to snuff with all that. And it's going to be a lot of fun.
