London's housing crisis.

It's threatening our future

and our mayor has failed on his promises to build

affordable homes for our citizens in this city. I have listened to all of you and this is the number

one concern that I hear from our citizens. 67% of you say that it is the one main thing on your mind.

The unaffordable rent and the

unaffordable housing prices if you want to buy in the city. I want to address it today.

I want to go through the history of our current mayor and how he has failed to

deliver on his promises. Then I want to take a step back. I want to go from a 30,000

foot view and really look at the entire London housing problem for the past 20 years.

And then I want to provide my solution to you that we can actually enact within months, not years, and solve this housing crisis now.

Enough of the talk, enough of the two-party system bickering back and forth and blaming each other, let's solve this problem for our citizens.

We've got families out there, we've got children that need homes, and this is no longer acceptable.

And I'll be honest with you, the more I looked into the numbers beyond housing in this city, the more I realized what a travesty it is, what our current mayor has done to us and done to families and hard-working Londoners by not providing them affordable housing.

This is a major crisis in the city and it can be solved.
