So one of the things I think about when I think about creating change is that I've seen this a lot where people are very romantic or nostalgic about the person that they used to be or the place that they grew up and they feel like it's unethical or it's out of integrity for them to leave the person that they were behind in the past

Like I can never do X because I'm just this type of person

And as long as somebody's referencing their previous self, their childhood as a reference point of who they can become,

encourage them to do is stop being so stuck in a way in nostalgia and in

romance and in feeling this you know I think for me like I had to realize that it wasn't unethical or lacking integrity to release whoever I used to be.

And I, none of my relationships needed me to stay who I was.

different person but I don't feel any obligation to anyone in my life to maintain a

consistency and people can't guilt me into staying the same person if I don't want to be that person anymore.
